"Paul Allen Award"

In 2003 the MSWGA Board of Director's initiated the "Paul Allen Award".  This award is for the recognition of men in their contribution to and for women's golf in Montana.  The MSWGA Board feels a good share of the strength and the number of today's female players, regardless of her ability, is because of some of these men.  These men may come from all walks of life but have taken the time, energy and effort to promote and encourage the growth of the game through and with women as players.  This award has been named the "Paul Allen Award" because the first recipent of the award is Paul Allen, Head PGA Professional at Yellowstone Country Club for 45 years.  Under his guidance and tutoring many female players have come to enjoy and love the game.
