The Montana State Women's Golf Association is devoted to promoting educational, social, and recreational advantages for women and girls in golf by encouraging sportsmanship, amateurism, skill and respect embodied by the honorable traditions in the game of golf.
Any properly organized golf club or women's golf group/league not yet a member of the MSWGA may apply for membership. Club Membership applications may be obtained from the Executive Secretary/Director. An individual player from a properly organized golf club who is not a member of an MSWGA affiliate may join by paying a $10 annual membership.
The MSWGA is a 501(c)(7) not-for-profit organization established under the guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service in 1950. Advice is available to all Member Clubs in regards to course rating, handicaps and the running of local tournaments. Continuing the rich tradition of serving Montana's women golfers, the MSWGA annually holds two State Championship events: the State Women's Amateur and the State Senior Women's Amateur.
No matter how long you've been playing or how often you play, if you love the game of golf this site has something for you. In order to better serve your needs, your comments and suggestions are encouraged.
The administration of the MSWGA is carried out by nine Directors and two ex-officio members of the Board representing all areas of the state. They along with local volunteers devote their time and talents to the promotion of women's golf and the state amateur championships.
